What Makes the Candy Blue Mustang So Rare? In 1965, Aurora marketed 'candy' painted Mustangs in red and green. It's believed a limited quantity of candy blue Mustangs were made. Now, AFX replicates it in a special Limited Edition of 3,000. Each package is numbered and the paint scheme won't be duplicated on a Mustang again.
Please Note: These bodies use a new metal flake paint process. Like old Hot Wheels' spectra - flame paint, each paint job is slightly different. Some minor imperfections may appear, adding uniqueness and value.
